Friends and team members gathered on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 to present Aljrae George, Plant Ops team member, with the Iberia Medical Center PROMISE Award.

Aljrae was nominated for his willingness to go above and beyond to support both clinical and non-clinical staff, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to service. Al’s exceptional work ethic is only surpassed by his positive attitude. If you pass him in the hallway, you’re guaranteed his winning smile — and a reminder that all is well.

With five years of dedicated service as a plant employee, Al has developed a deep understanding of the demands of a clinical environment, where system reliability is directly tied to patient safety and operational efficiency. His expertise in infrastructure systems — including emergency power, medical gas, HVAC, and fire sprinkler systems — is an invaluable asset to both campuses.

Al is well known throughout the organization for his professionalism, ownership, commitment to safety, and pursuit of excellence. He truly exemplifies the Promise standards and is always willing to step up and help whenever needed.

The PROMISE Award is designed to honor the exceptional contributions of our non-clinical staff members who play a crucial role to ensure the optimal functionality of our healthcare facility. Whether it is through administrative support, hospitality services, or any other non-clinical role, this award celebrates individuals who exemplify the core values of our organization and contribute to the overall success of our team.
