Infusion Therapy
Conveniently located with the Cancer Center of Acadiana-New Iberia, the medical office building on Iberia Medical Center’s Main Campus, The Infusion Center includes a full range of outpatient infusion services for patients needing intravenous medications. Our team of experienced registered nurses are chemotherapy-certified and PICC-certified, providing our patients with the highest quality of care. A physician referral and insurance authorization are required.

The Cancer Center of Acadiana, New Iberia, is overseen by Dr. Hemendra Mhadgut, Oncologist. Dr. Mhadgut has experience in treating solid tumors, hematological malignancies and performing bone marrow biopsies. With his training in Geriatrics and Medical Oncology, he has special interest in the unique challenges that come with treating cancers in older adults.
