IMC Welcomes Jillian Henry, NP, OB/GYN: Accepting Appointments

Iberia Medical Center welcomes Jillian Henry, Nurse Practitioner to the Obstetrics and Gynecology provider team. As an Iberia Medical Center Charge Nurse on the Maternal/Child unit for many years, Jillian Henry, NP is a familiar face to patients in the community. Jillian Henry, NP joins Dr. Damian Delhomme in practice at the OB/GYN Clinic located at the Main Campus.

A native of Abbeville, Louisiana, Jillian received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Women’s Health from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Jillian is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and also holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Electronic Fetal Monitoring, and Inpatient Obstetrics.

Wilbur Allain Memorial Stellar Award Presented

Family, friends and team members were present today to formally recognize and congratulate Rene Sibille, Dietary Porter, recipient of the Wilbur Allain Memorial Stellar Award.

Rene was nominated by his peers and selected for his positive attitude and dedication to IMC. The nomination recognized his communication skills and his willingness to "always do the right thing." Additional nomination highlights included his personal commitment to taking on tasks beyond his job title and doing work, such as serving food and delivering trays even on his days off. The nomination also recognized his enviable attendance record showing that in the seven years of his employment, he has never called in and not reported for duty on his scheduled days. Rene is a team member who is one hundred percent dedicated to and invested in working at Iberia Medical Center.

The Wilbur Allain Memorial Stellar Award is presented to an Iberia Medical Center team member who exemplifies exceptional dedication to serving others, leadership and performance excellence.

The award is named after Wilbur Louis Allain, Sr., one of the charter members of the Iberia Parish Hospital Service District No. 1 Board of Commissioners in 1951. Mr. Allain’s legacy of serving others and love of community lives on though the Stellar Award, presented quarterly at Iberia Medical Center.
