In collaboration with the Aphasia Center of Acadiana,  Iberia Medical Center is hosting monthly aphasia support group meetings.   Aphasia is a brain impairment that can affect speech, understanding,  reading and writing.  Aphasia results from brain injury including  stroke, head trauma, brain tumors and some types of diseases or  infections.

The support group meetings will be held on the second  Friday of every month and will include guest speakers and support and  caregiver conversation.

Time: 10 am
