Iberia Medical Center and the IMC Physician Network welcome Cory E. Sehrt, PA-C, MSPAS, to the medical community. Cory E. Sehrt is now accepting patients at the family practice of Dr. Stephen Boudreaux and Dr. Robert Lahasky. Their clinic is located at the Iberia Medical Center North Campus: 520 North Lewis Street, Suite 203.

Cory E. Sehrt is a Summa Cum Laude graduate from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Exercise Science. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants.

My goal as a PA and healthcare professional is to help patients learn how to improve their own health.  I enjoy working in the specialty of Family Medicine because each day it allows me the pleasure of meeting new patients and working with colleagues to diagnose and treat a wide variety of both acute and chronic illnesses.  I get the opportunity to work with patients and teach them how to better understand and manage their illnesses.  I believe helping patients to be more actively involved in their own healthcare leads to better outcomes,” states Cory E. Sehrt.

“New Iberia is a beautiful and unique community that I feel embodies the spirit of Louisiana.  I grew up in Acadiana, and after college moved out of state to further my education.  It didn’t take long to realize why people say Louisiana is the best place to live; It’s the culture, the love of family, the festivals, the food, and the fun that are unlike any other place on Earth.  I am incredibly happy to be back home and I am honored to provide healthcare to the people of this community,” states Cory E. Sehrt.

“Cory E. Sehrt is a certified Physician Associate/Assistant through the NCCPA, National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and will be an excellent addition to family practice,” states Dionne Viator, IMC CEO.
