What: Iberia Medical Center will be providing Covid-19 vaccines by appointment only during two separate February events in Jeanerette while supplies last. IMC is responding to a request by the Office of Public Health to host vaccine events, as there are currently no pharmacies in Jeanerette offering the vaccine and access to the vaccine is extremely limited.
Who Qualifies: Primary focus is individuals 65 and older, however any person who is represented in Phase 1A and Phase 1B, Tier 1, as outlined in the Louisiana Department of Health guide below will be eligible.
When: The two dates for these vaccine events are Tuesday, Feb. 9th and Thursday, Feb. 11th.
Time: These appointment-only vaccines will be administered starting at 7:30 am until 4:00 pm for both dates.
Where: The Covid-19 vaccine clinics will be held at the Iberia Parish Ward 8 Recreation Center at 803 Hubertville Road, Jeanerette.
Appointments: Vaccines will be administered by appointment only. Residents can register for an appointment by calling 337.374.7255 and leaving the requested information.
Quantities are limited: Vaccine supplies are limited. Once supplies are exhausted, any remaining residents not receiving a vaccine will be placed on the IMC wait list.

Cost: There is no cost to receive the vaccine.
Restrictions: Masks will be mandatory for anyone entering the recreation center.
