Iberia Medical Center Foundation Hosts 11th Annual Golf Tournament - Thursday, April 17, 2014

The Iberia Medical Center Foundation hosted its 11th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, April 11th at Squirrel Run Golf Course.  The proceeds from the event are dedicated to help provide improvements and equipment such as ER and fetal monitors, and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation equipment.  According to Parker Templeton, Chief Executive Officer of Iberia Medical Center, "This year's event saw a record number of registered teams and sponsors, with over 125 golfers hitting the course.  WSe are grateful to our business community for its strong support as well as loyal donors who have supported us through the years, to those who are new to our tournament.  We experienced overwhelming participation this year.:

   The tournament kicked off at 7:00 am with registration and breakfast and a shotgun start at 8:00 am.  Forty-three teams made their rounds, stopping along the course for samplings from the many food vendors, and returning to the pavilion at the clubhouse for an outstanding lunch an announcement of the winners.  "This was a great tournament," announced Jacob Freyou of the Foundation's Tournament Committee.  "Truly one of the est we've had.  We were lucky with the weather, we had a record number of teams, and our sponsors and vendors were all very generous.  We are also fortunate to have many dedicated employees who volunteered their time to make sue this event was executed perfectly."

   The First Place Gross winners were Jason Hebert, Brody Leblanc and Danny Duplantis, sponsored by Jason Hebert.  First Place Net went to Countertops Plus/Bulliard Construction, whose players were Tom Bulliard, Pete Delcambre and Alex Declouet.  The Iberia Medical Center Foundation thanks all the teams, sponsors, vendors and volunteers for their assistance in the success of this year's tournament.

   The Iberia Medical Center Foundation is a non-profit public charity that was established to raise money to help fund capital growth of Iberia Medical Center.
