Iberia Medical Center Announces Appointments to Senior Management Team - Thursday, May 29, 2014
The appointment of Beth Gondron, RN as Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of Iberia Medical Center was announced by Parker Templeton, Chief Executive Officer.  She has served as the interim CNO since February.
"Beth brings over 18 years of nursing experience to her position.  She has served as the Director of Case Management, and was the Director of Nurses for IMC’s Home Health department,” announced Templeton.

Gondron’s experience in Case Management will be invaluable to her position in senior management.  Stated Templeton, "Her knowledge of the admission process, clinical management, service reimbursement and discharge planning, in addition to the relationships fostered with physicians, will be a broad foundation for her transition to the wider gamut of responsibilities in her new role.”

In addition to her CNO responsibilities, Gondron will serve as the executive leader/champion for the facility’s Studer service excellence journey, a leadership program focusing on customer service and patient satisfaction.  She will work to develop and execute the implementation plan, identify priorities and issues, and ensure service and operational excellence efforts are on track.

Gondron received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana, Lafayette).

Jennifer Davis, RN, IMC’s Quality Management Manager, has been promoted to Vice President of Quality Management.

"Jennifer will join the Senior Team,” said Templeton, "continuing her leadership of the Quality Management department, Education, Performance Improvement, Risk Management, Infection Control, Employee Health, and Medical Staff.”

Davis’ extensive nursing experience includes two years in Nursing Administration as a house supervisor, and ten years on the Medical/Surgical Unit, six of those as manager.  As Quality Management director, Davis guided the organization through its recent survey by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and is responsible for maintaining the hospital’s survey readiness.

Davis obtained her degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette.  Both appointments are effective immediately.
