The Women's Diagnostic Center at Iberia Medical, OncoLogics and the City of New Iberia are proud to present the first annual Hats for Hope Luncheon, an inspirational afternoon of breast cancer education and survivorship. The event will take place on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Sliman Theatre from 11:30am-1:00pm.

The event will include a panel discussion from breast health-focused physicians. Drs. Jonathan W. Thompson, Radiation Oncologist, Oncologics, Dr. Kurt Obrien, General Surgeon, Surgery Clinic of Iberia and Georgios Constantinou, Oncologist, Cancer Center of Acadiana-New Iberia comprise the expert physician panel who will discuss breast cancer prevention, treatment and wellness in the informal setting of the Sliman Theatre.

A local breast cancer survivor will share her personal journey with breast cancer. Iberia Medical Center will provide a lovely lunch and there will be a contest on the most creative, most humorous and most original hat. Every attendee will leave with a gift bag.

The event will support the First Friday Breast Screening Program under the Iberia Medical Center Foundation. The mission of the First Friday Program is to increase awareness of the importance of early detection, honor those who have had breast cancer, provide free screening mammograms for people in need and to help save lives.

Tickets: $15 - Proceeds benefit First Friday mammography program.
