HR MANAGER - FT
This position is: Full Time
Position Location: Iberia Medical Center - North Campus

Under the direction of the VP-Human Resources, oversees all aspects of human resources practices and processes, administers Human Resource programs including management of the online payroll system, application tracking, the employee evaluation process, compensation management, employee personnel files, disciplinary action, and managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management. Promoting hospital values and shaping a positive culture.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

    Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required

  2. 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles

  3. 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
    • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification, preferred 

  1. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
    • Previous experience in HR office administration, word processing, and computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to deal with people from all backgrounds and all ages.

      • Must possess excellent decision-making, strategic thinking, leadership, interpersonal, and ethical conduct skills.
      • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.

    1. JOB KNOWLEDGE
      • Must demonstrate the ability to communicate with people of various backgrounds.
      • Must possess the ability to prioritize work and meet required deadlines.
      • Should have a general knowledge of the fundamentals of personnel management.
      • Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations and laws, preferred.
